Vintage Design
Magnificent and ultra rare buffet or cupboard. The design is attributed to the well known Royal furniture company H.F. Jansen & Zonen from Amsterdam. Solid oak with original brass knobs on doors and drawers. Decorated with the coat of arms of the city of Amsterdam! The locks and keys are in good working order. The Royal furniture company H.F. Jansen & Zonen was famous for its designs and works of art for the Royal family in the Netherlands. They have decorated several palaces in the Netherlands. The founder of the company H.F. Jansen had four sons and three of them worked in the company also. The third son Jan Hendrik Jansen went to Paris and founded around 1880 the world famous furniture company Maison Jansen.
